Thanksgiving 2017

David and I had our first Thanksgiving feast at our school. Part of the feast is the baskets that are raffled off. Every class gathers a basket with different themes and the money collected goes back into our school.

We had a thankful tree that evening.
GG was our guest since Daddy was working.

Thanksgiving was so special this year. We hosted 16 people in our home. James' mom and John, his Meme and Pop, Sarah, my mom and our best friends Dara and Jeremy along with their beautiful girls.
There was no shortage of food and I sure loved the sights and sounds in my kitchen as we all gathered to prepare our meal that day.

James' 36th birthday was the day before Thanksgiving so we waited a day to celebrate all together.

my mom, Dara and I had some Black Friday shopping fun!

On Friday evening us adults went to the piano bar, it was so fun!!! Meme and Stephanie took the kids to a movie.

On Saturday we played tourist, our first stop was Palo Duro Canyon.

Krystal, Sarah and my mom zip lined!!!

We had lunch at the Big Texan.

Our last stop for the day was Cadillac Ranch!

That night we played some good ole Rummikub!
It may have gotten a little crazy.....
On Sunday when everyone went home our house was so quiet and lonely. We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving.

Some very honorable mentions in November were also The Marine Corps Birthday....
and that day James cut off the tip of his thumb.....
and the phenomenally funny night we took the bigs to see Tim Hawkins!
