Boy Scouts Regatta

On Saturday Christopher had a boy scout event called The Raingutter Regatta. He got a box about a month ago that contained the contents of a sailboat type boat. They were to build it, paint it, and then race it at the event.
   James and Christopher worked for several days on the regatta. Here is their boat.

It is really awesome isn't it??!! So the day of the race, they sign in and before it begins everyone including the families vote on Best In Show and they hold the results until the end. Here are the boats.

The way the race works is every boy races three heats and then they average out the three to get the final time. They have to send their boat to the end of the track by blowing in a straw.

At the end of the morning...Christopher won 2nd place in his group and wait for it.....Best In Show.

He was a very excited little boy.
