We are enjoying this beautiful Spring!! Easter time is always a blessing for us and this year was no different. Makayla had to work all day Saturday of Easter weekend and Christopher was volunteering all day at the zoo's Easter Eggcitment so we took James Henry and David there to enjoy the zoo's festivities.

We got to see Christopher doing his thing at a Zoo-fari cart with our family friend Kenzie and the famous Madagascar Hissing CockRoach.
Saturday Evening, we dyed Easter eggs. We tried a new way with shaving cream. It was very messy!
On Sunday morning before church the kids checked their baskets and like last year the big kids received gift cards. They seem to really enjoy them the best.

Easter morning was sooo cold and windy, so James had to improvise on his egg hiding skills and hide them indoors when we got home from church.
We spent the rest of the day, just the 6 of us enjoying a traditional Easter lunch of Ham and sides and the kids wanted Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. Then we curled up together and watched the new Star Wars Movie.
Earlier in the week David's class went Easter egg hunting at a nursing home. It was so precious.
