David recently started patch therapy on his left eye. His right eye is far weaker than his left eye, so much that his brain has always known so and has just programmed itself to allow the left eye to do all the work. The hope is the patch will force his brain to make the right eye focus and work since the better left eye is covered and out of the picture so to speak. He wears his patch a minimum of 5 days a week at a minimum of 2 hours a day and a maximum of 5 hours a day. He has done amazing with it. He doesn't give us any trouble at all. We will continue with follow ups every 3 months and hopefully between his glasses and the patch, we can get him some real improvement.
Makayla finally got her braces off!!! This was phase two for her, so she is done for life!!! She is just doing some retainer maintenance now and that is it. She has a beautiful amazing smile!
She also just started her first real job!!! She is working at Wonderland Amusement Park. Yes, she worked a few weeks last summer at a Mother's Day Out with me but she did this interview, paperwork, training, the whole nine yards. Y'all, our kid is all grown up.
James Henry got braces on!!! He got his put on over Spring Break. This is phase one for him and he only has them on the top teeth. He had absolutely no issues at all. Dr. Moore had to pull one baby tooth that day so the tooth fairy left $5.00 for the trauma of a dentist pulling your tooth, although laughing gas tends to leave out all trauma.
Christopher is doing great, still doing his thing at the zoo! He has had no medical procedures, ha! So, this is him last weekend holding a Madagascar Hissing CockRoach!
