What would adoption week be without a party??!!
We held it at the indoor preschool playground of the main campus of our church.
We chose a Superman theme, "Superman was adopted too!"
 |
| excuse his black legs and feet, he was crawling all over the playground! |
 |
| We all wore Superman shirts! |
Our precious friend and Sunday school teacher Sabrina, made David's cake.
David was having a blast playing while waiting for his guests to arrive.
We had a lot of pizza, cake, cupcakes and drinks.
 |
| Savana playing with David. |
We also rented an obstacle course bouncer for the older kids to play on.
 |
| Chris shooting hoops with Papa John |
 |
| Grandma Dawn and PawPaw Roland loving on David |
We were so blessed by the many friends and family who came and celebrated with us.
 |
| checking out Mr. Robert |
 |
| hanging out with our sweet neighbors Brian and Teresa |
The kids had a blast on the bouncer!!
David enjoyed all the perks of the party including pizza crust.

 |
| Chris and his best bud Nicholas |
 |
| GG and David playing |
Funny story, I forgot a knife to cut the cake so James used his pocket knife! Don't worry it was clean.
More fun playing....
This is our sweet friend Brittany Myers who is always behind the camera in our family pictures but I was glad to take this one. We are blessed by her love for our family.

We really had a great evening of fellowship and food with our family, church family, neighbors and friends. The kids had a blast playing and it was just a great celebration.
David was blessed with more gifts that night and we opened them once we got home. He sure has been spoiled these last few weeks.
It's not everyday you get to celebrate an adoption and we sure made the most of it!
