We had such a blessed Easter weekend. The kids were out of school Friday and James and Christopher went to see a movie, that evening we went to Good Friday service at church.
After church Friday night we took the kids shopping at Lifeway for new bibles and covers to go in their Easter baskets.
We spent Saturday relaxing together, making desserts for Easter and dying eggs with the kids.
David was so much fun!! He wanted to put all the eggs into his one cup and of course he tried to drink the dye water!! I had forgotten how much fun little ones are at egg dying.
I am so thankful that although my big kids are "big" they still endure me and participate.
They did a great job!!
Sunday morning we woke up to a blanket of snow covering the ground, it made for a beautiful back drop for Sonrise Service.
We spent our church morning at the missions breakfast, sunday school and main service.
James Henry's teacher sent me these pictures of his class!!
After church we came home so David could nap and around 4:00 all the grandparents came over. The kids looked through their baskets.
We ate dinner, which we ordered this year. It was great, everyone was able to relax and visit.
The kids hunted eggs.
David actually "hunted" about 6 of them on his own. Then he dropped the basket and ran off to play.
It was just a great weekend together celebrating our risen Savior.
